Have you ever seen a photograph that left you breathless? A photograph that moved you in your heart? Pictures are powerful. They create a timeless memory that can be passed down from one generation to the next. I myself, have precious pictures of my grandparents that I hold dear. As a photographer, having the opportunity to take family pictures of those special moments is truly an honor, and it is such a joy that I can be part of a families life for just a moment but give a gift that will last a lifetime.
This last week I had the opportunity to take the Upadhyay family pictures. Dawna is a photography major and artist so family pictures were creative and fun! She came with all kinds of wonderful ideas and it was my first morning session which provided beautiful skin tones to these fun memories.
When Grace and I arrived at Muscatatuck Wildlife Preserve at sunrise, I was concerned that photographing 3 teenagers would be a bit challenging. LOL. Let's be honest; I have three teenagers and mornings...well, let's just say they're not at their best. But the Upadhyay family was ready to go, despite the early wake up, with smiles on their faces and tons of wonderful ideas for great memories. We had the opportunity to catch the sunrise and photograph in the morning mist which created surreal dreamy pictures. It has been so much fun editing these pictures and I had such a hard time choosing my favorites.
