Reaching the 50th wedding anniversary is a remarkable achievement, a testament to enduring love, commitment, and unwavering partnership. This milestone is often referred to as the "Golden Anniversary," symbolizing the precious and rare nature of a love that has stood the test of time. This momentous occasion is a time to reflect on the journey of a couple who has weathered life's storms and cherished its sunsets together for half a century..If you have lived in Columbus for a while, then you probably know Deb and Dennis Steele. Their children describe their family as laid back, and I would add that they are also a very kind, warm, and welcoming family.

I was recently honored to help celebrate Deb and Dennis Steele's 50th Wedding Anniversary and family reunion. Family flew in from all over the world from Maine to Sweden to help celebrate this Golden anniversary. We started with family pictures earlier in the week at the Cummins building. The fall weather was perfect and the photo shoot was full of children playing and sweet family pictures. The festivities continued on Saturday with a 50th Anniversary celebration at the Holiday Inn in Columbus attended by friends and family and displayed throughout the party were dozens of pictures commemorating Dennis and Deb's 50 years together. Their children worked hard to make it a wonderful party, and I think it showed how much love is in this family.

In todays day and age, it is not common to celebrate 50 years together. Reaching the 50th wedding anniversary is a triumph of love, and it signifies a lifetime of shared dreams, unwavering support, and a commitment that has only grown stronger with time.
